According to TMZ:
Kesha’s filing Monday to drop the
case comes after a nearly 2-year battle with her famous producer. It
also comes as she attempts to get her career back on track by releasing a
slew of new songs.
Her attorney, Daniel Petrocelli,
says, “We have conveyed to Sony Music and the label Kesha’s strong
desire to release her next album and single as soon as possible.” He
added that she’s delivered 28 new tracks to the label.
As for the the NY lawsuit she filed
against Luke … she continues to appeal an April ruling that shot down
her rape allegations and her effort to get out of her contract with
Luke’s Kemosabe Records.a
